For the money this TV has a wonderful picture. It is sharp with vivid color. I looked up the reliability ratings and Sylvania has an excellent reliability rating. I love that it has HDMI ports. Sound quality is very good for its size.

Great value, easy to set up, beautiful quality picture.
I am not very savvy when it comes to Televisions and audio components, so I went to several stores looking for what I wanted at a good price point. I found that this TV was about $25. less than comparative other Televisions I looked at, and with free shipping (which arrived in 2 days), I figured it was worth the risk.
At 15 lbs, I was able to set it up without help. I put on a DVD that I had watched several times on my old (29″) TV and within the first 10 minutes I saw details I had completely missed in previous viewings. The TV settings are easy to navigate, and the set up plugs are obvious and easy to get to in the back and on the side. I just plugged my Wii into the side, and it was ready to go with no glitches or problems.
I’m sure that people with more discriminating tastes might look at other televisions and think that the extra $25 – $500 difference is worth it – but for me, this is a great TV with good picture and audio for the price.

This is a great tv and the price makes it even better! Sharp and clear picture. The casing is nice (doesn’t look cheaply built), and it was shipped fast and arrived in great condition.

After reading mostly great reviews, I took the plunge and bought my first HDTV. First you cant get a black level, all the dark areas have a reddish color. On a black and white movie, it has a strong red tint to it. No matter what I did it made no difference. Another thing when you switch from TV to DVD to hdmi it has no memory for your settings. So how ever you set your personal setting it will have to do on all inputs. The picture quality on standard def is horrid, blurry pixlelized and slow to respond to fast action frame rate. The good…. it looks pretty. Almost forgot the worst thing about this set. You can not get a decent flesh tone. It’s either an orange or bluish tint.

This TV is great, I have an HD cable box and I’m using HDMI cable. Image is awesome even though it’s only 720p. Sound quality is just as good, I hung this set in my bedroom and with the volume on 8 or 9 it’s too loud. The scale, I believe goes up to 50. I love the shiny black piano housing. I’m very pleased, and would highly recommend this model. Going to order another for the kids room.
