you can also use Window Movie maker
Dazzle 50′s are cheap (10-14$) and do everything his more expensive docking stations and BOB’s (80-150$) do
And my ass VHS tapes have a short life span. They’ll last as long as a decent CD-R provided its kept in a cool dry enviroment away from sun light.
I’ve got hundreds of VHS tapes.
They have D-VHS-2 Which is a High Definiton format of VHS still used today. Fits about 4 hours of 1080i video and 2 channel audio (3mhz bandwidth SP)
